Jared's Story, from Kevin Collins - ABC Ranch

For those of you who know Jared, know he has a heart of gold. He is that person that would do anything for anybody at any time. No matter the time or place. You would also know that Jared is a very hard worker and dedicated to his job. In nearly a decade working for us, he has never missed 1 day of work. That says a lot, especially in today's age. Jared has always been the one to help others, no matter the ask. This time, Jared & his family need help from us....

On October 12, 2021 - Jared Robords was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer after being admitted to Strong Memorial Hospital for what was thought to be Pneumonia... Jared has a long road ahead of him and his fight is just about to begin. Medically, emotionally, & financially. Jared is a devoted family man. Jared has a wife, Samantha, & three boys, Timothy, Patrick, & William, whom he loves more than life itself.

Jared came into our lives nearly a decade ago. My Father, Dr. A. Byron Collins, hired Jared part time to work on our cattle farm, A.B.C. Ranch. He also worked at Cider Creek during their infancy to help on the bottling line, or whatever was needed. My Father quickly saw Jared's value from his work ethic & passion for working with cattle. Soon after, he was hired to be a full time cattle hand on our Farm. A couple years after he was hired, my Brother, Chip Collins, died unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. Jared quickly stepped up and took on the role of Farm Manager for our Cattle Farm.
